was born in Jakarta in the year 1964. She hails from a large family with eight brothers and sisters. Her parents originally came from Banjarmasin in South Kalimantan, but the family has lived in Jakarta since 1971.
Rita initially graduated from the Akademi Ilmu Sekretaris Indonesia in 1993 with the qualification of Secretary. However, two years later she continued her studies at the same institute in the then newly established Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Manajemen, obtaining her undergraduate diploma in Management and Economics.
Rita worked for three different removal companies from the year 1991 to 1999. She eventually got married to an office colleague in 1998, and in the year
they decided to start their own removal company together, which is still in business today. Recently, Rita has started a second company, which sells golf carts. She is one of the founders and commissioner of BIG BEN International.
She has one beautiful daughter, Keila Zaneta Arifin, who was born in 2005.
